Nails! Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail Polish in Powder Room

If I had to choose a favorite nail polish brand,  it would have to be Sally Hansen.  They have a ginormous color selection, excellent formulas, the perfect wide brush for sweeping on nail polish quickly and neatly, and they are widely available at drugstores for very reasonable prices.  I seriously can’t believe some nail polishes cost $30 dollars.   Give me my Sally Hansen, which ranges from about $1.97-$9.99, and I’m 103% certain no one can tell the difference once it’s on your hands.

Anyway, I am currently obsessed with the Sally Hansen Color Therapy line of nail polishes.  All of the nail polishes in this line include nourishing oils, like argan and evening primrose, that keep your nails healthy.  You supposedly don’t even need to wear a base coat so your nails can get the full benefit of the oils, but I still would if I’m using a dark color.  I am currently wearing the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail Polish in Powder Room and all I can say is YES.

Woops I got some nail polish on my skin… I don’t really care enough to clean it off though. I just wait for it to come off by itself after washing my hands a few times!

Powder Room is just stunning.  I applied two layers here.  It is a soft, silvery blush color, but it is also kind of like a rose gold nail polish.  Who doesn’t love rose gold? What’s more, It has this beautiful brushed metallic finish.  I don’t own many nail polishes, so this is a unique one to me.

The color and finish of the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail Polish in Powder Room is just so flattering against my pale skin tone too.  I think it would work really well for anyone who is pale!   I got this for $6.72 at Walmart, but Ulta is currently having a BOGO 50% off sale on Sally Hansen.

Then I decided to have some fun and throw some glitter into the mix.  Woo! I painted a layer of the Essence Gel Nail Polish in My Sparkling Darling (86) over my ring finger to see what it would look like:

Essence My Darling Sparkle

My Sparkling Darling is a very cute and pretty purple glitter.  Seriously, I’m really feeling this glitter!  It makes me feel young and carefree hahaha. I can see fine silver, pink, and purple glitters suspended in the polish. It’s not in your face glitter though.  She’s a demure glitter 🙂  It works with the Sally Hansen Color Therapy nail polish in Powder Room beautifully.

Essence is having a BOGO 50% off sale at Ulta too, so I got this nail polish for about $1. (My other Essence purchase was the Lash Princess mascara as my makeup no-buy rules allow me to replace mascara  🙂

Under soft lamp light, the colors are warmer and soooooo prettttyyy!
