Use Up That Makeup! May Makeup Basket and mini reviews

I know it’s a bit late but I was traveling….May is here, can you believe it? And it’s time for a new makeup basket and a Use Up that Makeup update!  I didn’t wear much makeup for the month of April, so there is no discernible progress on the products I chose for my April makeup basket unfortunately.  I thought about taking pictures of the April products, but they look exactly the same so I guess I won’t.  The only thing that looks satisfyingly low is my tiny Chloe Fleur de Parfum sample!  Now that May is upon us, I have switched out some of the products, and I am ready to use my May Makeup Basket!

Shopping my Stash, Enjoying what I have! The April Makeup Basket

Recently Bobbi Brown had their Friends + Family sale where everything was 20% off.  Of course, I jumped on that sale and ordered some goodies online.  It’s the same percentage off as the big Sephora VIB sale in the fall, so I did not think I would get a better deal later. For quite a while now though, when I buy new makeup, I always feel  conflicted because I know I am spending a lot of money on makeup, and I know I do not need the new makeup.  So as I order more makeup online (although I love Bobbi Brown, I really do), in the back of my mind, I am thinking, What am I doing?  It’s like I am caught in this cycle of buying new makeup, then seeing something else that is new and promising in the masses of advertisements and youtube world, buying more makeup, and then forgetting to enjoy what I already have.
